Woodinville, Washington, is a city with a population of 9,194, located in the Sammamish Valley area of north King County. Just east of the State Route 522 and Interstate 405 interchange, Woodinville is primarily a residential community that has thrived, in part, because of the easy commute to the eastside cities of Bellevue and Redmond. The shopping district in Woodinville continues to expand as the population grows. Many fine greenhouses and nurseries are here, along with an antique mall. The outdoor recreation offered by nearby lakes and mountains include swimming, hiking, biking, and skiing. The 27-mile Burke-Gilman/Sammamish River Trail also runs through Woodinville. Although the population of Woodinville has grown, it has managed to preserve its small town feel. "Country Living, City Style" is Woodinville's motto.
