Mill Creek, Washington, is a city in Snohomish County; it is located approximately 20 miles north of downtown Seattle. The population was 17,600 in 2007. Mill Creek is a planned community built around a golf course and country club as its centerpiece.

Mill Creek was officially incorporated on August 30, 1983. The city has rapidly grown with large number of families and jobs and now contains a mixed-use, city-sponsored complex called Mill Creek Town Center. Before the turn of the century much of Mill Creek was forest, but recently many apartment complexes have been built all along Bothell-Everett Highway and some other roads throughout the city.

Based on per capita income;, one of the more reliable measures of affluence, Mill Creek ranks 19th of 522 areas in the state of Washington, with a median family income of $ 87,263 in 2007.
