Eatonville Real Estate
Eatonville, Washington is a thriving working class town in southeast Pierce County. Founded as a trading post by Thomas C. Van Eaton in the 1890s, this area quickly grew into a thriving community with its own railway stop, and a school that's still in use today. Eatonville was also a booming mill town through the first half of the 20th century, and home to several mills which brought in thousands of workers. The community's main mill closed in 1954, but a strong local infrastructure and the spirit of local residents kept the town going. Eatonville re-emerged as an industrial center with the construction of a concrete manufacturing plant in the late 20th century.
